Hello! More Antikvas! Yay!

NEW CHALLENGE!! I think a lot of Antikva updates begin like this. Anyway, this week's challenge is:

Forever Young: one sim in your household must go on a nightly hunt for one of the Grand Vampires, and get themselves turned into a DENIZEN OF THE NIIIIIGHT…! (requires Nightlife)

This challenge actually seems a bit ambiguously worded, but okay. It sounds better than "BUY USELESS OUTFITS".



So that night, the generation four Antikvas go to the Crypt O' Night Club. They walk there because it is totally plausible to work from suburbia to the CBD, by which I mean the game lets me do it so IT HAPPENS.



Aaaaaand that was easy. Although I'm sure this is a different Contessa to the one Alexandra banged. For a start, she's white.


…although, considering what happened to Dormie Desmond…



I'm going to assume that Amaranta is just like me and talking about what a shame it is that vampires can't go out in the sun, and there should be more times like that episode "Amends" in Buffy where there's a gigantic snowstorm so even though Angel's trying to go outside in the sun to die, it's actually too snowy for there to be enough sunlight to kill him.

You heard me.



The Contessa wasn't impressed with that Buffy reference so instead Amaranta starts talking about money. Money talks louder than words. And words ABOUT money talk louder than money AND words about things that aren't money so basically they're pretty damn loud and you'd be a fool not just to cooperate with this conversation already.



So… apparently… Amaranta doesn't know one of her brothers and barely knows the other one. A+



Amaranta gossiped about Kevin Sprita like 6886698697898 times to the Contessa and seriously I think the Contessa was actually alive to witness his exploits unlike you Amaranta



I WOULD show you what Aureliano and José Arcadio were doing but they were basically just doing this. Then they hung out with each other. Yep. They know each other a bit better than Amaranta knows them.

Also, this is when I wondered whether it has to specifically be a Grand Vampire that bites my chosen Sim because getting Luna to bite one of the Antikvas would be pretty easy.



I'm going to assume Amaranta is just like me again, and for me "making out" is a euphemism for "neck-biting", and I think you can see where I'm going with this



ok the thing about Sim neighbourhoods when your other legacy is on generation ten is that EVERY TIME YOUR SIMS GO TO A COMMUNITY LOT, THERE ARE JUST LOTS OF SPARES THERE. That said... hello Lucia Sprita (gen. 5)! Looking good for 200 or however old you are.



Then we saw Cosette Sprita (gen. 3).



Amaranta is basically the best.



Unlike this loser who started jump-roping on the dance floor, wtf.

Baxter is stinky again. Grrrrrr.



this happened when Amaranta was GETTING ON THE SCHOOL BUS FOR SCHOOL.

I guess Monique listened to me, because someone brought her home from school! Amaranta has a good ol' gossip sesh about whichever of her brothers this is.



anyway, that night, TO THE CRYPT O' NIGHT CLUB, AGAIN!

honestly I'm not sure whether this challenge meant I had to send them Downtown EVERY night or only until I found a vampire but whatever…



Again, who wouldn't want to be seen in public with these two?



ok well Amaranta apparently



look, the Contessa returns! and she's black again because she actually was the same Contessa that Alexandra banged and I decided it was outrageous that my game randomly turned most of my black Sims white so I made her black again.



this soon appeared in Amaranta's queue… best buddiez~



then Aureliano started talking to the Contessa and Amaranta was grossed out. wtf.



Only the ElectroSphere can heal the pain!



Meanwhile, José Arcadio's fucking around on this thing. Exciting.



Apparently Amaranta wasn't badass enough to withstand this thing on "Hard" mode.



Amaranta and the Contessa bond some more over Aureliano's bad dancing :/



But Aureliano don't care!



José Arcadio made a friend. Sorta.



Aaaaaand Hillary Spicoli's wearing weird face makeup and talking to herself?? idgi



Zoe Sprita (gen. 2 spare) feels it is appropriate to block off an entire staircase with her dancing



she also looooooves the Contessa



José Arcadio tried to check himself out in the men's but he's a bit too short L O L

I'm really glad that Aureliano wasn't put off his game by all that jeering either, haha



so apparently that "Bleh!!!" interaction actually results in this.

luckily public spongebaths are totally acceptable behaviour!!!



Aureliano finds himself being chatted up by someone and life is good.

I sent Adrianna to greet Mac but for some reason "Fight... Attack" was a possible interaction

and meanwhile some random is having a nervous breakdown at the end of the lot



This random turns out to be Marie Sprita. If you remember, I killed her husband because I was pissed off with all my current Sims constantly inviting him home and getting re-infected with the flu. Sorrry Marie :(



Amaranta and José Arcadio have another fight, this time about soup, which Amaranta apparently doesn't like and which José Arcadio apparently likes a lot



then underage drinking, yay!!!



Aureliano's busy with this

they come home and José Arcadio wanted to jump on the couch so...



whoo!



Mac's been here for like a long time and she helped herself to two serves of breakfast >:|



then she tried to boggart our computer (plus she also fell in love with Alexandra) and it's like GO HOME, MAC



meanwhile apparently Aureliano forgot where his bed is.

I always interpreted the challenge as they had to go meet a vampire downtown, and befriend them enough to get turned.

well, I sorta did that! I am going to count this as a challenge successfully completed.
