The Sims 4 on Linux? IT WORKS!
3 April 2017 04:36 pmI spent a few hours playing on Saturday and it completely works, for real:
I even have beautiful graphics despite relying on Intel integrated graphics, like so:
I mean, how amazing is this? I am pumped.
I'm still trying to work out how people usually post their legacies these days, though. Clearly LJ has fallen out of favour, and strictly speaking I'm not sure DW was even in favour in the Sims community. Tumblr seems pretty active, but I'm not sure how I feel about eschewing big, solid updates in favour of a picture or two at a time. If I tried that with my commentary style it would come across very disjointed, I think. Although obviously I guess you can update more often if you only need two pics at a time...
Anyway, eh, I dunno. I'll play some more and work it out. I'm also not sure whether I'll turn the family I'm now playing into a fully-fledged, ten-generation legacy or if I'll just play 'em until I feel ready to do a "proper" one I'm more invested in. I'll see how I feel over time, I guess.
